Have A 24/7 Ravenous Beagle? DIY These Simple Treats to be Greedily Devoured

Beagles are known for their playfulness and happy-go-lucky nature but there is one more thing they love to do. What is that? Try opening a fridge and see how they come running towards you. It is a no-secret secret among dog owners that beagles love to eat. Be it in the daytime, after midnight on the middle of the night. Just show them where it is and it won’t be there the next time you see. They won’t leave any garbage cans un-raided, any dog bowl filled, or any dog treat lying around. If they see it, they eat it, even when they just had been fed.

Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Frozen Yogurt and Peanut Butter Dog Treat:

The easiest and possibly the yummiest of ways to treat your dog after a full-on exercise or training session! All you need are two ingredients –peanut butter and flavored yogurt. Melt the peanut butter in the microwave for two minutes and then mix it in the yogurt. (You can add water for a more liquid consistency) The quantity of each depends on how much you want to make in batch. Once mixed, spoon it in a muffin or cupcake tray and let it freeze.

P.S. you can even throw in a mashed banana for more flavoring.

Pumpkin cookies

Another great and super-easy recipe to DIY, this requires only three-ingredient to make and is a favorite with most dogs –be they of any breed. All you need is pure pumpkin puree, an egg and all-purpose flour. You can also add cinnamon powder, honey or peanut butter for additional flavoring but that is just optional. Here are the instructions on how to make them.

Almond butter and banana treats:

We found this one on pretty fluffy and couldn’t resist sharing. But before you begin making one, ensure that your beagle doesn’t have any almond-allergy. They don’t, most of the times but it is best to check first. When making these, you will need an egg, almond butter, a pinch of cinnamon and a banana.  As for the instructions, you can find them detailed here:
